Biogas Power

Biogas power is an innovative and sustainable energy solution derived from the decomposition of organic materials. This renewable energy source harnesses biogas, primarily composed of methane and carbon dioxide, produced through anaerobic digestion, where microorganisms break down organic matter in the absence of oxygen.

Diagram showing palm oil production process, starting with palm tree and fresh fruit bunches, producing palm oil, fiber, shells, and empty fruit bunches used as boiler fuel. POME is converted into biogas.

The gas produced from biogas production can be utilized, the scale from home applications to industrial scale. Biogas will contribute in significant ways to future energy supplies.  Compression technology can be used to harvest the gas more efficiently.

PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) to separate carbon dioxide from methane gas with high purity. Compressors feed raw gas into membrane/PSA for separation process, in this method biogas is converted into renewable natural gas (RNG). RNG can be used for biogas power generation
